Led by Cristiane Bollousa
An intensive training in real-time choreographic composition based on the methodology of the creator, dancer, and pedagogue Cristiane Bollousa.
Over two weeks, we will immerse ourselves in the understanding and practice of this methodology of stage creation. The process will conclude with two public performances open to audiences at La Fundición (ticket: €8).
DESCRIPTION OF THE TRAINING
The training aims to foster a practice that provides physical tools and principles allowing musicians and dancers to collectively manage choreographic and sonic space.
The work will focus on the study of how the flow of movement behaves in space and how it manifests through form:
• Release of flow : Recognizing and practicing the different ways in which flow the vital pulse through which movemen t manifests appears and travels, whether autonomously or guided.
• Channels for the flow : Studying dynamics for the construction of sonic and spatial architectures.
• Spheres of relationship (collective flow and individual flow): Observing how bodies affec t one another and how they respond to what they perceive, feel, and think in relation to what is happening.
• Regulation of information : emptiness silence stillness pause / fullness sound movement action.
• Management of collective and individual imagination.
• Cultivating attitudes that embrace differences and allow for a collective organization of the creative space.
All of this with the aim of facilitating a shared and conscious practice of creation within the stage space..

ABOUT CRISTIANE BOLLOUSA
Choreographer, dancer, and teacher, Cristiane Bollousa began her training and professional career in Brazil, where she earned a degree in Dance from the Federal University of Bahia. Her background is influenced by classical ballet, American modern dance techniques (Graham, Limón, Horton, Cunningham), German Expressionist schools (dance theatre and gesture language), as well as improvisation techniques, contact improvisation, and complementary studies in manual therapies and Shiatsu.
In 1992, she moved to northern Spain, participating in various activities related to pedagogy, stage creation, research, and the promotion of dance professionalization. In 2001, she relocated to Madrid, where she collaborated closely with Francesc Bravo’s Rayo Malayo Company.
From 2008 to 2022 she directed the company Omos Uno, working with musicians and dancers and developing an intense activity in venues in Madrid with regular weekly performances. The main focus of the company was the research and creation of choreography through improvisation and real-time composition, both as a means and as an end of its stage proposals.
As a pedagogue, Cristiane has 37 years of experience teaching in official conservatories, universities, private schools, festivals, and workshops for theatre and dance collectives, both in Spain and internationally.
In 2013, she created the pedagogical project EspacioFCI, aimed at offering dance training through Contact Improvisation ( www.espaciofci.com ). Her teaching and creative work has taken her to Brazil, Morocco, Panama, Colombia, Sweden, Germany, Portugal, and across Spain.
